I am loving being back in third grade this month! We have been "playing" with one of my favorite topics-funny animal combos! Students have come up with croco-phin (crocodile + dauphin), dra-ster (dragon + hamster), cha-pent (chat + serpent), and chi-pillon (chien + papillon). We have watched one fun video connected to this idea, and have a couple more lined up. |

I was so happy to be able to spend time with the third graders this fall. We spent a lot of time with Simon’s cat, who has been a recurring visitor to our classes over the years. We witnessed his feline antics and laughed at his goofy behavior in the kitchen, bathroom, and living room. I will be glad to work with these students again in the new calendar year. |
