LES INFORMATIONS

le jeudi, 1er octobre 2020
This week we have continued to focus on animals, but we're shifting a bit. We had read some books in this collection that connect to water: where you find it, and what you find IN it! We have a new song (of which Ms. Dustin taught a different version to our remote learners!), and I had a lot of fun making a wacky video. Additionally, it was great to have a morning meeting with the remote students this morning. I will miss second grade after this week!

I am so happy to be working with the second grade classes for the next little stint.
We have been working a lot with one song; our dancing and animal sound skills improve every class! We have read several books about farm animals, which is the focus of the videos.
We will also begin to explore bodies of water, and the kinds of animals that live in them. Additionally, we will talk about the characteristics of various animals, which will allow us to focus on two very important abstract ideas: peut and ne peut pas (can and cannot).
